Until someone runs them down i think they're just doing enough to win. Why expend unnecessary energy at this stage of the season.
They are an amazingly good team right now and it ****ing hurts.

They are attacking it with even more intensity now, my question is given the fact they've obviously increased their in-game loads will their game plan be sustainable for more than half of the season?

Not saying they aren't a good team, just that they cannot sustain that pressure they bring at the start of the game for the entire game. Considering we are only four weeks into the season and they have only had to travel once so far, is it going to hurt them at the business end of the year when teams tire?

Geez Fyfe would be an amazing player if he could kick.
Freo showing contempt for their opponents, two weeks in a row. I don't remember great teams like the Lions '01-'04 easing off the pedal as Fremantle have in the past couple of weeks.

I agree they can't sustain it, but they don't have to. They are as fit as anyone, so if they aren't blowing teams off the park in the first half they will just be more consistent over four quarters.
If there's any consolation we saw what happened to St Kilda after Ross Lyon boot camped them for several years. They wpuld really want to win this year.

Let's not kid ourselves, we would be fizzing all over the place if a coach could come in and turn our middle of the road squad into the well oiled machine that is Fremantle.
