Breust and Rioli lost the game in the dying stages there. And Smith's grubber had Andrew Embley holding back tears

Two wins between us and Hawks though, that's a positive.
Hawks are a bit of a conundrum this year. I still think their best is better than any bodies but they're really struggling to produce it consistently

The race for top 4 is also very open. Freo and Sydney are on track to make it as most expected but the other fancies are at crossroads with 4-4 records. GWS, Adelaide, bulldogs, collingwood and us are all ahead of where anticipated at this stage. Will normal programming resume or will the surprises keep coming

Unless GWS fall into a hole, I suspect they will be there, looking at their draw. Though I'd back them going out in straight sets if that's the case.

West coast currently with the most points for in the comp and the 3rd lowest points conceded. Some (most) of our opponents have been toilet but still even the most optimistic among us wouldn't have predicted where we currently sit

Regardless of whether they go out in straight sets or not if they end the season in the top 4 they would be over the moon about the rate of their development.

Hating myself currently. Was telling myself to tip Swans all week and chickened out, ****

I almost changed my tip to the Swans this afternoon but did the same, bah!

We've got the players for a very potent forward line
Kennedy
LeCras
Hill
Cripps

The ability for us to transition the ball better this season and get them some clean chances is what we are benefiting from most.

Scary to think we could add Darling to it in a few weeks times, and hopefully McGovern to it next year.

I just can't wait for the next month of football. It will tell us exactly where we sit.

Was always going to be the challenge for the hawks this year. Unfortunately I am struggling to find someone to stand between Freo and the cup. The only solace I have is CC, oh and that it's early days. :D

I tipped Adelaide and that put me one down (I was first in my league). Got one back on everyone with the Sydney tip and I'm now back in front by margin. Port and Richmond is a tough one for tomorrow. Port are out of form but I can't bring myself to tip Richmond.

I already see myself :). And have plenty of friends/family who are also colleagues!
. And disliking a team because of drug issues just seems a little hypocritical :p. Relax, I still like Brisbane more.
I disliked essendon well before the drug thing blew up, them instituting a team wide doping program just reinforced it

No respect for that organisation at all

Why have you always disliked them? The "away" home finals of the 1990s could be why , but I'm too young to have been a serious supporter back then (and I still blame the afl rather than essendon). Or is it because of their overall finals record against us?

I've respected/liked Essendon more than any of the other big 4. I consider them the Melbourne equivalent of us :P!!!

Can't stand Carlton- they are my least favourite side, and the only side I actually hate. I don't like Collingwood anymore now that Buckley is the coach (I like MM, but not enough to make up for my dislike of Carlton!), and I've never liked Richmond as much as most people (and I certainly don't respect them).

It is the jacket waving for me.
