I love the irony that in the week Naita plays his most complete game in the last couple of seasons, after being criticised for only getting hit outs, Sandi is picked in the AFL team of the week for only getting hit outs (albeit 60 odd of them).

In case you missed it, Open Mike last night is a must watch. I'd never heard of Mark Eustice before the interview but it is thought provoking and heartbreaking. Can't help hoping Ben Cousins can have a similar turnaround.

**** sake who drinks before a game, that's some 101 stuff. Even in amateurs you get pulled up if your Friday night keeps hurting your Saturdays, how unprofessional could you get? After the game is stupid enough, especially with team rules, but who's drinking the night before at this level

You get the feeling the players think the whole Gold Coast thing is a bit of a joke and just a chance for a cash grab to have a bit of fun playing footy. They need to get some people with some balls into the club to sort it out. Put careers on the line.
