Someone on the MB posted that McCarthy has walked out of a GWS training camp in Queensland.

Full of character this guy if true! Signs a new contract with the club, tries to break it and join the Lavenders, fails and walks out on them. Just the sort of guy for the Lavenders .... will fit in well with the rest of the undesirables there!!
