Movies have always reflected the political and social norms of the era they were made in, so they have always been politically correct.

Game of thrones didn't and it became the most popular show on TV. Although I noticed they are looking to tone down all shocking elements for future seasons due to the usual mass outrage.

Just woke up and I feel sorry for the players to be honest. Not necessarily regarding whether they should be banned or not, as if they're guilty then they're guilty(even if they were not privy to what was going on). My main gripe is the way they've been screwed around by the whole situation. If they simply been found guilty last year then they would have finished serving their time already and be ready for this year.

Either way, **** James Hird... I hate that guy.

The extra game against Essendon could be all it takes to push Geelong & Richmond ahead of us into the top 4. That'd be a little bit annoying...but not much you can do about it!

If they are going to come close to being top 4 I think Geelong and Richmond would have pencilled in those wins against Essendon anyway. Makes little difference imo - the Bombers weren't going to be challenging for top 8 anyway. I think PA will still be very competitive even though they lose 2 - I guess Dixon fits easily now. WB losing Crameri might have a little more impact.

Yeh no doubt they'd most likely be favoured to win those games before today, but I'm more thinking about the 'extra' percentage boost they'll likely get with the second game against an extremely weakened Essendon team.
