Bullies super polished in the first. A bit wobbly in the second because they couldnt believe how bad Freo were going. Should be 3-4 goals further in front

Both, a combo of Freo not being able to get it off the Bullies, and when Freo have it, they just give it back.

This reminds me of Rd 1 last year. Bulldogs were so fast it took us by surprise and we had no time to do anything. We fared a lot better than Freo currently are though

Freo's ball use has been awful. Turned it over so many times in that first qtr especially. Bulldogs looking so silky in comparison.

Bulldogs' inside work (tackling and contested disposals) is far superior to that of the Dockers today lewigie. Freo are also turning the ball over a fair bit due to both good pressure from the Dogs and poor quality disposal/decision-making of their own (Spurr in particular, but even Hill has been poor). Ballas missed an easy set-shot and also made a poor decision going forward on one of the rare opportunities they had.

Bulldogs are full of run and should be further in front, having missed a few gettable goals themselves.

The lack of Sandilands is a big factor in this though. If we had to play the Bulldogs without Nic Nat it would be a big challenge too.
