Then with McCluggage unconscious and his head trapped under his body, Sicily dumps him again for no reason in an action that could easily have broken his neck.

One of the most reckless, unnecessary acts that could cause permanent damage to a player that I have seen in a long time.


All after returning from suspension for giving an unnecessary cheap-shot to Caminiti's head in his last match.

The only team that looks like top 4 quality is the Pies. Port has its moments but have also won a ridiculously high number of close games. Brissy has the best squad bar none but is flaky and drops games they should win. Melbourne is also inconsistent.

All the teams from 5th to 12th have massive flaws and wouldn't make finals at all in many recent seasons. I can't see any of them doing damage in finals.

This feels like one of the weakest seasons in a long time. The football being played is pretty trash and it looks like the Pies have the flag sewn up since May.

I'm not sure we watched the same incident by that description tbh

The other Hawks player going over the top had a fair influence on the result I thought but to be fair, I haven't seen it slowed down

Tbh I would much rather see that match, at least those are two sides I’ve seen very little of this year. Or Brisbane vs Hawthorn yesterday, would have preferred that too. I’ve see more than enough of Carlton this year (and frankly in recent years too; they are constantly on the big-ticket night slots even though they are usually mediocre to bad).
