They've cut costs by no longer flying the commentators to each state to call the game live

I don't think I've really cared about other posters being overly negitive. Doesn't bother me really. And most on here are pretty spot on with where the clubs at. Discussion and being negitive goes hand in hand. Without it all boards would be super boring.

Possibly something to do with the arrangement for the first 7 rounds (or was it 8?) whereby Foxtel has exclusive rights to Saturday games.?

Probably the same sh*t we had before where games played at 11:45 were delayed by a few hours.

Happy enough with that deal. 10 over 7 would've been nice but Paramount or Stan over Kayo would've been a disaster

The best thing about this deal is that the league has more money, so should be able to increase the football soft cap again.

The other best thing is that Gil can now hurry up and be replaced.
