Pretty controversial overturn for the goal. I can’t say from that footage it was clear either way. I thought the rules stated that if the evidence was inconclusive it’s always deferred back to the goal umpires call.

Can’t say I feel comfortable with such a 50/50 call being made by the third umpire on such inconclusive evidence.

I couldn’t care less that Richmond are knocked out but I don’t want to see such crucial games decided like that.

That said I’m not convinced the umpire made the right call - Lynch wasn’t confident at all and he had probably the best angle of anyone
