For the 2nd year in a row he’s ponced about being coy about whether or not he’s interested in a coaching job only to bail once it becomes apparent he isn’t just going to be given the job.

Likes having his ego stroked as the media ruminate on his bonafides, waiting for clubs to contact him because heaven forbid he has to stoop to letting them now he’s interested

That ego couldn’t cope with the possibility of not being selected after going through a selection process so he withdraws and disses the club on the way

Any club looking for a coach in the future would be well served to put a line through his name before they even start looking

Keys I agree with most of what you have written and I do too, enjoy the almost comedic / pantomime that Ross always seems to deliver.

The other thing that has struck me is this:

Have said thanks but no thanks, it screams to me that its an even bigger Cluster* at Essendon than we are aware of.
All of the four mentioned prospective Coaches, would have access to much more detailed and accurate information as to the state of play with in the grubby walls of The Hanger.

I have always had time and much respect for Simon Madden and when he decided enough is enough, then steps aside, it was another massive Red Flag for me.

Now I will admit that I dislike The Drug Rats with a passion and I am, immaturely , very much in a state of schadenfreude as I am watching this whole soap opera play out and unravel.

Then the compassionate side of me says ..... * em.
