24 months ago they stuffed their cap and were forced into a discount fire sale.

12 months ago they finished 17th.

Now they are in a Preliminary Final, with De Goey about to re-sign and Melbourne willing to cough up a 1st round pick for a player they don't need (Grundy).

Amazing what happens when a club does a clean-out.

nafan fyfe constantly injured.

Fyfe I think is going to be the elephant in the training room for Freo.

The few times he's played in their midfield this year he looks like he's made it worse, not better. He's slower, cant bullock players like he used to and cant dominate aerially anymore. If I were JLo and wanted to try and back up 2022 I would seriously consider benching him.

Freddy has been poor tonight with 2 late goals padding his stats .

Acres has been very good probably freo's best . Can't believe freo are letting him go
