I know this is not an Essendon thing to do, but I’m happy for Carlton fans and players.

Considering where they were last week, things aren’t always as bad as it looks.
Perpetualy bad teams are good for no one, enjoyed that win, Cripps wow.

So was Bolton that bad of a coach or do the Carlton players owe him an apology?
Neither. I think the media and internal pressure on the team was stopping them from performing to their full potential. Getting rid of Bolton was a necessary circuit breaker but the way they played today was a direct result of the work he'd been doing with that group for the last few years.

Had a go at the ladder predictor, imagine those elimination finals happening those would be absolute blockbusters crowd wise.

WCE vs Collingwood as a qualifying final too. Grand Final rematch..

Geelong and GWS would be a good match up too, you could almost call it a budding rivalry, if only there were a few more GWS supporters.

This is where GWS struggle, their lack of support crowd wise costs them. It's worth goals, having 500-1000 fans against Richmond and Collingwood the last two years was like a drop in the ocean.

AFLHQ are the ultimate fanbois though, which probably levels the score. And if they made it to a grand final the crowd would be mostly corporates anyway, they wouldn't have to actually fill half the MCG or anything :p
