I'd like to thank the AFL for tonight's very ordinary fixture, making the choice to flick between the England v Pakistan Test and Socceroos friendly a very easy one.
Why would you ever plan a Sydney (dour) v Carlton (hopeless) match on a Friday night? Even before ratings started sliding I could tell you this was a bad idea. If I watch it, it will put me off neutral games for the whole weekend. Best avoid it.

Rabbitohs v Sharks will probably be more free-flowing end-to-end. Socceroos game will probably have more goals and Eng v Pak will probably have less stoppages (including changes between over).

The best indigenous jumpers totally incorporate the club's original design as part of the art work.

The West Coast, GWS and GC jumpers are almost really good except for the jolting contsact. At least we got that part of our jumper right.

Syndey's jumper looks great as does Richmond's. St Kilda's is simple but effective.

Western Bulldogs have jumped shark by agreeing to playing in that thing. It's like Hawthorn has a complete aversion to anything remotely tasteful as far as jumper design is concerned. You'd think that the brown and yellow stripes would really suit some interesting art work.

D_P_S what's Brennan Cox's closing speed like in defence? Looking at the Freo side they have in I can't see how they can play him forward when they have McCarthy, Kersten, Jones (ruck) and Apeness (forward/ruck)
