After 11 games the dogs were 8-3, Richmond were 7-4 and West Coast were 10-1. All in the top 4

They only need to lose one match to not get the cup. Anything can happen on the day, you just have to work hard enough and have enough luck to get to the one day in September.

Geelong is the only good team this year. GWS second, but they're too mentally weak/injury riddled. Talent pool spreading out since GWS and GC has made lists very shallow.

Richmond and West Coast would have been an ordinary middle of the road 8-12 side. They're currently top 4 contenders.

Lol I haven't seen us play in 2000. I'm experienced in seeing an ordinary side.

Richmond have 5 losses. West Coast have 4. All of them have been thrashings.
Outside of Richmond's 37 point loss to North, all of them have been above 40 points.

Geelong, GWS and Collingwood are easily better.

Given the year we had, a DVD set of every game incl. the loss would be great.

Having said that, as wonderful as it was I rarely look back on games from previous years anymore. It just feels sad more than anything else.
