No way should Geelong play finals at GMHBA.

All Victorian clubs have played their finals at either VFL park or G in old days and now all at the G.

So Marvel clubs like us should play a Prelim (one day!) at Marvel? Vic clubs already have an advantage of playing all GFs in Melbourne.

It's also completely counterproductive. We all saw the way Collingwood opened them up with the extra width at the G.

What the Cats should focus on doing is getting GMHBA something closer to the dimensions of the G if such a things is even a remote possibility.

I don't see the point in transferring their problem from week 1 of the finals to week 3 of the finals. They're already entirely incapable of getting past week 3 anyway.

Without having seen last night's game it is the most unconvincing 10 goal win on paper you'll ever see.
You should probably watch it. Adding to what Lloydy said, Brisbane were on top but wasteful for a quarter, and then nowhere near it for the rest of the game, without playing badly. Richmond flicked the switch to obscene.

18.4 to 8.17 is a reasonable argument but Richmond had it very comfortably covered.

Can't be done without tearing it all down and starting again.

In any case, sure, they were an outstanding team, but 2007-2011 Geelong had no trouble dominating both grounds.

A lot of rumour swirling about this afternoon that Spud Frawley has passed away in a huge car crash outside Ballarat this afternoon.

No confirmation yet, but if true, that's a tragedy.

One of the genuinely good and funny blokes involved in footy.

Terrible news.

Just a massive loss for so many. Well loved across the board.

A huge gaping hole exists within the greater Ballarat footballing community. He was such a massive part of the area and people everywhere around here are just deviated.

This one hurts a lot and will be felt locally for a long time.
