lol that shit don’t matter, they’re going to have to rebuild in the worst time possible with tassie coming in.

They actually want to hit the draft now while before they thought they were the la rams and were acting like **** them picks.

Sort their playing list by age and tell me out of the 17 players younger than Nick daicos, is there even 2-3 any team would be worried about?

Now look at the list for geelong the other team usually considered old as ****.

Pies aren’t going to get a priority pick in 28 or 29 and get “daisy and pendles” in the same draft. If they had changed the rule a year earlier they would still be on 14 flags
Ifs, buts, maybes. Scoreboard matters.

Unlike Carlton and us though, Collingwood have had recent success. They know a. how to build a modern successful list, b. how to develop players, and c. remain a appealing destination club.

I don't think they're - yet - in any danger of doing what Essendon and Carlton have been doing for the last two decades.

Richmond are the interesting one because they're a recently successful club who deliberately pulled the plug on the list to aggressively rebuild.

Excellent summary

I didn't realise Max King hasn't played for 2 years. We thought we had issues with Rids.
And his contract doesn’t end until the end of 2032!!
And we thought Parish’s contract was too long!

The glazing of the roos by the media after checks notes giving up 11 goals in the last to lose by 49 points is wild.

They continue to be put in same basket as us and richmond re where they are on their rebuild journey but theyve been at it for at least 3 or 4 years longer and have a 4 time premiership coach at the helm. Call a spade a spade, theyre shithouse too.

Will be lucky to win any of their next 4.

Basically showing that the time table to do a rebuild off a low base is longer than simply 4 or 5 years.

They had a very soft start to the year, playing most of the likely bottom 6 aside from themselves. They're better than us, Carlton and Richmond but they're still shit.

we haven't played a bottom 4 side yet, but geez there is a bit of a gap between GWS(14th) and Eagles, Carlton, Essendon and Richmond.
West Coast won 2 games, but worse percentage in the comp and lost to Richmond

The rule changes appear to have drastically widened the gaps between the better sides and the rest. If you're not a good side, it seems much harder to stop the opposition scoring.

I'm firmly in the camp that they're better than both Port and Norf.
