IN summary the media know **** all.

The Age got it right - It was plastered on their Front Page - And reminded us that the HUN and The Australian got it wrong.

Heaven help us if any coach died or got seriously ill in the off-season. The team would have no coach to pacify the other 17 teams. Sometimes shit happens !

It's a huge year for Brad Scott, no doubt.

Basically, in 2012 they were able to beat up on the weak sides but, with only a couple of exceptions, were nowhere near against the top sides. In 2013, they largely rectified the problem of not being competitive against the top sides, but just somehow kept losing the close ones.

I'm tipping it will come together for them next year- they have a well constructed and balanced list. If things do go pear shaped for North next year, though- I suspect Scott could well find himself without a job.

I reckon North will do a lot better in 2014 with the additions of Leigh Tudor, Geoff Walsh, Cameron Ling and Gavin Brown (in that order).

Ling (in his limited time at the club) will teach the side how to defend, you'd think, and Tudor - who really should be a senior coach already - will make sure Scott actually addresses his flaws, rather than carry on like a petulant child in the coaches box.

If all else fails, they'll sack Scott and replace him with Tudor, and I have no doubt they'll improve pretty quickly.

The list's there; they should be on par with us, but they're currently let down by an absoute idiot in Brad Scott.

I have us both in the top 4.

A Top 7, I like!

I have no idea for the 8th spot. I have Port, Adelaide, Collingwood, Gold Coast and Carlton vying for it, in that order

No Buddy anymore.

Personally I think that his loss won't be as pronounced as others think. Roughead is more than competent in the forward line without Buddy.

That said, it will be interesting to see how the Hawks' forward structure looks come Round One.

I thought pretty much exactly that seconds after making that post. Clearly I'm hoping it doesn't work out so well.
