Not really. The stats are deceptive. Fremantle was in control for much of the match.

Really

Adelaide 3-8 from set shots against Fremantle 8-2 from set shots.

Adelaide had their chances !

Anyone watching the Richmond doco? Just if anyone needed reminding how feral and pathetic the Tiger Army is....
Just watched it and thought there is nothing there we didn't know already. Irony seeing Caro's dad being a catalyst for the fall

Curious that the full program didn't feature Caro's daddy mentioning that they used to bend and break the rules...

Doesn't really mean much. Fremantle did what they had to. If Adelaide had converted more, Fremantle would've matched it. Have a look at the by quarter leads. Adelaide won the stats - it meant nothing. Fremantle played better.

And they have a crack at us it seems the 'whatever it takes' slogan isn't synonymous with Essendon

I wonder if a young Caro was calling for her Dad's head for 'instigating the destruction of a football club'? Actually, come to think of it, she is a stereotypical Tiger - bitchy, quick to turn, and downright negative. Also, she probably is so vengeful toward Essendon and its supporters since the concept of club unity is foreign at Punt Road.

I was listening to the wrap up from that game today on ABC as I was driving, and someone (it may have been Whateley) made the point that Freo are one of the only sides where, more or less, looking at the stats is often useless in terms of correlation to who or lost.

We are not arguing who played better - We are discussing whether Adelaide had opportunities to win the game - And they had many.

That's probably true, because Freo rarely get big leads. Freo looked the better team, although they couldn't bury Adelaide and surprisingly lost nearly all the key benchmarks.

If they won all the 'key benchmarks' and still couldn't win, then no, I don't think they really had that many opportunities to win.

She represents her brain-dead football club perfectly.

Kinda like how that nattering turnip-head Kennett beautifully represents the Hawthorn supporter base.

This round is probably going to be the most important round of the year for a lot of clubs.

Carlton vs Fremantle
Essendon vs Collingwood
North vs Geelong (I can feel an upset looming)
GWS vs Melbourne
Hawthorn vs Richmond
Adelaide vs Port Adelaide
