Good to see 7 alienating the olympic fans by not actually showing anything and the footy fans by only showing the post match on social media.

it'd be much more straight forward to have one of the multi channels exclusively showing 7's sports execs flipping off the camera on a 24 hour loop

The little shit is exactly how i reckon i would've felt about Darren Bewick if i barracked for someone else.

Except i don't barrack for someone else.

And Bewick was better.

Still i reckon Ballantyne would fill a void in our team and allow our young midfield tyros play midfield rather than small forward.

How many years will he have left though?
 
Not many but modern AFL screams for a quality small forward. I see our kids as mids first.

Thing is we aren't close enough to trade for someone like Ballantyne so really it's a moot point.

On Bewick though, it's easy to forget how good he was. Le Cras, Milne, Ballantyne, none of them as small forwards are fit to tie his shoe laces. Cyril probably is, whilst being very different players, one of the closest comparisons for impact and quality of posession.
 
That was the best Friday night game I've seen this season unless I'm forgetting another one that was better.

I honestly hate the fact I hate watching Cyril. It's not so much watching him, but listening to the asociated commentary both during and after games. He is a ****ing genius gee, don't celebrate him doing something the mundane as

I 'm drunk so you win. Best game I've seen unless our round 2 win turned into a Friday night.

Thank christ though. My contempt for the AFL makes me think of reasons to hate first. Games like that make me remember better days of yore and look forward to us being able to compete again.

Moore has many athletic gifts, but I worry that more experienced defenders will stop him running at the ball, and stop him getting his arms up to mark.

Plenty to work with Moore but he will need to refine his game which should come with experience.

I don't see it with Tom Boyd - He's a million years from a being a good AFL player - He's closer to the VFL standard than AFL standard.

Isn't that what defenders try and do against most forwards, why is there a greater concern for Moore? Kinda stating the obvious.

Nah, probably just got told he'll more than likely be playing out his final year in the WAFL and is putting out some feelers for a better opportunity

Yeah I meant to mention this last night. I've seen him a few times now and I can't work out what the big deal is. Can't seem to do anything well. He's just big.

And when Ballantyne is cooked in 1 to 2 years we are back to square one in regards to the small forward role. Do not want.
