So Goddard is given 2 for his fairy bump, but Conca is allowed to elbow a player in the back of the head when he's not watching and gets the same?

Go **** yourselves.

Stevie J copping a week is seriously gonna **** my supercoach for 1st week of the finals, desperately need Buddy back this week.

If anyone has bothered to watch the AFL Charged video or whatever.

Basically they say in regards to Murphy's elbow to Crowley, IF Crowley had gone to ground Murphy would of been charged but he didn't so it wasn't.

So if Winderlich's elbow on Cornes (I think) had failed to floor him then Winderlich would not of been suspended.

What a joke of a system

Was Luke Brown from Adelaide. But agree, joke of a system.

Yep Caro.

It's Essendon keeping people away from games............

Essendon's fault for making Marc Murphy frustrated at the state of the game, so much so that he lashed out.

Chain of causation, you see. Learn it. Oh, and grow up!

The lack of punitive action towards elbowing incidents in the last couple of seasons is a big worry. It is one of the most dangerous parts of the body that can cause some serious damage to others if used with genuine malice. Yet of all the ****ing incidents either treated with kid gloves or simply ignored by the MRP, they pull out Winderlich's the other week.

Why was no action taken from the lindsay thomas dive?
It's been like this forever. If you embellish (ie dive after contact) you don't get done, but if you just basically lie (ie grab the head after body contact) you can get done. that's a pretty big loophole obviously. in jetta's case he was done for not failing backwards but for grabbing his head straight afterwards.

conca could have got about 6 weeks and I would have been fine with it. just a totally disgraceful act and really disappointing it wasn't sent to the tribunal. thought Merrett would have got off when I saw it. Don't think I've seen the rest.

there's also a second problem, in that it has a lower base penalty than it should. even when punished, I often think they should get more than they have

I guess if they are consistent, would like to see these made example of though.

Merrett one was 1 and half steps after Pedersen marked the ball - It's irrelevant for the MRP to argue that Merrett struck the ball - You can mark the ball have it in your hands ( keep it in your hands ) and get hit after five steps following the MRP's logic - I have no idea how Merrett got off. And that's making allowances for contact in amrking contests.

Does anyone know why monfries was getting booed on Sunday night? Didn't think he'd done anything to Collingwood...but I might be wrong!

Other than frequently giving Lalalalalabumba a bath during his days at EFC< I have no idea and was wondering the same thing.
