So did we win with the Gumby-Fremantle trade?

*despite the fact that gumby was our highest ever draft pick in the history of the club and I did fall instantly in love with him and remained in love for 7 years and we coulda got someone better but Im still glad he played for us

The whole thing is utter BS. Port is the home team.. they wear the home jumper.. Richmond needs to find the solution and not the other way around..

Typical AFL BS.. and we are all so used to it that it has become 'situation normal'. And now they have 'allowed' Port to wear a traditional strip if they can make it on time.. wtf is that about???

We have to wear that hideous grey thing.. wtf doesn't Richmond have some god-damn awful stink vest to wear?? Seriously baffling that you would make a 'home' team change uniform and not the away team. If Richmond wanted to wear their traditional strip.. then guess what AFL? They should have finished higher and got a HOME final..!!!!

Alex Woodward takes home Liston medal from Liam Anthony and Tom Campbell. Anthony lead by 2 with 2 rounds to left and Woodward pulled 6 votes in the last two rounds to win it.

My over arching opinion is 'Hawthorn can get f***ed', but this is a genuine feel good story, he's come back from 2 knee reco's.

It's made worse when you consider Richmond have played Port in Adelaide wearing their away strip in the last couple of years with zero problems for people at the ground or viewing on TV.

And they wonder why attendances and viewership is in freefall...

Oh that is right.. it is 'supplement saga fatigue'... yeah right.

Put it this way.. if WE were hosting Richmond... would we have to wear our grey PJ's?? Home team has earnt the right.. this needs to be fixed once and for all. All clubs must have a proper clash jumper and if you are the away team then you have to suck it up.

They do have a proper clash jumper. Or they did, up until the AFL decided today that it wasn't good enough.

Spot On. I wish port could just say "No, 'Our home game, our home uniform." But of course they know the afl would bitch slap them with bad fixture and unfavourable umpiring.

Kochie just on Sunrise thanking Gil Mc******** for being "so accommodating" regarding the jumper situation and how it's great to be able to wear their heritage getup.

Kochie, you're such a campaigner.
I'll let you decide which is Kochie and which is Gil

So Port wind up wearing the jumper they'd rather wear all the time.

Which... clashes... more with Richmond or something?

I don't know, but I'm glad that moderate idiocy has triumphed over total idiocy.

This is where it gets beyond crazy for me. Like when crazy Vossy was crazy crazy.

Port is now being allowed to wear a strip that is half black and half white as long as they wear white shorts.

Why not just ask Port to wear white shorts with their home jumper? Is their something about teal and yellow that I can't see?

Can we all just keep calm about Turlich and Georgiou dressing up as Harris and a little girl.

It's called satire and it's no different to getting the Hitler costume at the dress up shop.

If you don't like it look the **** away and go and worry about something important.
Agreed. It's Mad Monday, personally I wouldn't have dressed up as that but what's the big deal?

Why not let Port wear their home jumper with black shorts and Richmond wear their away strip with white shorts, kind of how they have the last 3 times they've played Port in Adelaide?

Yellow shorts would be better.

For all the derision the red shorts got, they're better at distinguishing the teams in a clash scenario than white shorts.
