Well I agree, what he should've done is hit him harder that'll show them. Hopefully the hit knocks them out and they hit the ground and die. Because I'm sure that's what the idiot deserved.

Oh my, this is what society has come to.
Surprised at the reaction to this. At the end of the day Clarkson has lost his temper and reacted physically with violence. As much as I dislike what the Port supporter was doing (and there is certainly an argument here for better security), Clarkson has escallated the situation into something physical and (potentially) criminal.

It will be interesting to see what happens as a result of this - as Clarkson has a history of agressive acts.

I love Zach Merrett. And I'd like to still have Crameri too.

I don't think either team has done too badly out of that trade, other than the dogs are paying overs for Crameri. Zach will hopefully be a star for a long time for us, while since the dogs have guys like Stringer, it'll open up an opportunity to occasionally use Crameri as a bigger-bodied midfielder.

I think Childish Gambino was being sarcastic, but I agree with your post.

His record against top 8 sides begs to differ.
Just quietly i think alot of the time his record is as the main man.

Him as a third tall replacing Ambrose in a forwardline of Carlisle Daniher and (insert competent small forward we dont have name here*) would be quite damaging.

Maybe Fantasia?

Still underperforms against top 8 sides.

Meh, you're wrong.

I'm leaving it at that.
I'm not. From 2012-2014 he kicked 29 goals in 28 games against top 8 sides. Against non top 8 sides he's kicked 70 goals in 28 games. He plays like shit against good sides and looks good against crap sides.
Eth, I'm sorry but your views are far too stubborn.

Crameri is a good player. Not a star, but a decent player and right now, our forward line could do with him.
Or, my views are right, backed up by the above stats. Crameri doesn't fix our forward line problems, nor does he help them.

He's not a good player. Our forward line was shit with him, and it's shit without him.

Give me one statistic over the past 4 years that tells me he doesn't beat up on crap sides.
The mistake you're making is you're basing his output on stats where he's been the number 1 forward, which everyone agrees he is not.

He is the perfect missing piece to our non-functioning forward line. A player who knows how to lead, goes up the ground and has good defensive output. He's a pure forward flanker, we played him as a CHF/FF.

If you're using stats on players skills then Damien Peverill should have been a 10x AA 5 x Brownlow winner.

Ambrose -0 goals
Crameri - 4 goals

A close win against a "crap" side in carlton and a loss against the pies that many still think as a crap side.

Id have killed for a player that would beat up on those two sides to possibly give us a chance of winning.

A forward kicking more goals on average against shithouse sides is hardly an indictment. More... it's how the game tends to work. Moreso now than ever.
The difference between his games against top 8 sides and bottom 10 sides is massive. Too large for a supposedly "good" player.

He was rarely the #1 forward at Essendon, that was Hurley or Carlisle for the most part. He's far from the missing piece, and good defensive output? You're having a laugh, surely?

That makes absolutely no sense. You can mount that argument for someone like Stanton, but Pev averaged under 20 disposals his entire career.

And I'd have neither in my side. That's why I suggested dropping Ambrose for McKernan this week.

.
Oh please, Hurley was consistently injured and Jake played down back. Crameri for the majority was our number 1 forward.

I am laughing actually, but not for the reason you think.

Id expect the person be the bigger man and to continue to walk into their hotel that they were right outside of which would of ended the confrontation then and there. Weird I know.
Yeah alright, I'll continually scream within millimetres of your face for 50 metres and see how calm you remain.

Everyone is always so perfect with the benefit of hindsight.

No. Everyone is on Clarkson's side though. Agree it would be different if it was anyone else.
What? No it wouldn't.

Clarkson gets more heat than anyone when it comes to anything anger issues. To suggest otherwise is quite ridiculous, even more so to suggest that anyone else would've copped more heat.
