I'veonly been watching passively.

What happened to Mayne and Walters?
Walters looked like hamstring, just did it running. Went down the race and haven't seen him since. Was under an injury cloud coming into the game. (Edit: just saw him on the ground lol)

Maybe rolled his ankle. Still playing but really hampered.

Can we have a midnight review on the Ch 7 cameras please?

they have been ordinary, constantly dropping in and out with static all night from the high cameras.

Wow - Freo had a couple out which hurt their midfield but the Hawks played a weaker team than last week. Freo should have done better. Freo still lack that second tall. This is their biggest issue.

43k crowd.

Pretty rubbish crowd considering it was Friday night, good weather and the GF rematch.
But 60,000 members, Doss!

Can't wait to kick 'em out of the G when they're shit again. That being said, they've had a pretty good average since '61 so I might be waiting a while.

**** them.

See, while the Essendon loving, Hawthorn loathing part of me would love to blame it all on them, three rounds in and its hard to ignore the fact that attendances have been poor everywhere. This game just continues that trend.

Even just last year, they got 55k for the GF rematch between Hawthorn and Sydney. That was on a Saturday night. In fact, in Round 22 of 2012 they got 50k for a Hawthorn v West Coast game at the MCG.

I know Sydney draw better than Freo do in Melbourne, but in one year for a GF rematch, between what are generally regarded as the best two teams in the competition and in a prime time slot with good weather, a crowd of 43,000 is very disappointing. Even more so when it's dropped from 55k the year before.
