One day I'd like to see a Grand Final that ends with a kick after the siren.
It would be the most famous kick in history.
Though I wouldn't want Essendon to be involved, as I might have a heart attack.

Am I the only one thinking that Brown's comments have been taken a bit out of context? He didn't just say all wives/partners should be seen and not heard, but pointed out that specifically that it is as much a perception thing as anything else. It certainly isn't outrageous to suggest Richmond are perceived as soft, which many footy followers think is personified by their captain. He also pointed out that if Luke Hodge's partner had done the same thing after they'd had a couple of bad results, nobody (or very few anyway, always some nuffies out there) would question him because he is a proven player in the times that mattered with a lot of success to show for it.

I guess one question to ask is this: Could it possibly give opponents anything to use to get into Cotchin's head? I think so, which is kind of the point I think Brown was trying to make. 'Muzzle' was definitely a poor choice of phrase though!

So Cotchins wife posted a post on social media defending her husband - I suppose you only do this if you CRAVE public attention.
Meanwhile Caro had a go at Jono Brown for saying he'd never had to muzzle his wife...hold on isn't this the same Caro that suggested Hird should control his wife...

Yep, any chance she's ever had to have a pop regarding sexism, chauvinists etc, she's been on it like a fat kid on a cupcake. Except that one, single time when a wife had the temerity to one time speak up for her husband regarding something that mattered a little more than trying to get a kick on a weekend.

Imagine if a player scored the golden point by diving over the goal-line rugby style like they were scoring a try. Wouldn't be the best look. Golden Goal would be infinitely better.
Golden goal just makes sense.

As what you state above is 100% destined to happen. Imagine a ball up on a teams goal square. You'd have 22 blokes going up to punch it over. It'd be an absolute farce

You'd have speccies on top of speccies!

Imagine someone like Ballantyne being piggybacked up on Sandi's shoulders to punch the ball through from 16 feet above the ground...

In all seriousness, did these plonkers think this golden point thing through...like at all?

Teams would also be in training to build human pyramids to protect the goal line.

She posted something supporting of Trent and to keep going through this difficult patch.

This has of course been twisted into ammunition against Trent. Its the whole Tania thing again. The partners are to be seen not heard. Pathetic conduct by all the commentators.
You dont need to pass comments on a public forum - Why do you need to tell the whole world that you love and support your partner - And you do it on social media which is full of extremists and crackpots - Weird !

Sometimes emotions get so big that you need an outlet. If shit kickers like us get to scream on social media then she is more within her rights to do so without scorn.

It's ironic that the media say she shouldn't say anything because of backlash are the same media doing the back lashing.
The narrative is that Cotchin has always been over-rated by the media and the armchair supporter meekly follows the lead - In the last 12 months the media realised they've overrated Cotchin and now change their opinion - Then the armchair supporter realises they've been mislead and vent on social media - B.Cotchin is railing against social media.

It's the AFL. Of course they didn't. Had a chuckle this morning when their Twitter account put up a poll. 'Have your say! Golden goal or point?'

These same plonkers make up policy on the hop all the time so no doubt they'll put in a change soon.

If it's a golden goal, what if one team scores 6 behinds, and the other team scores a goal, and they win, but the score is still actually a draw? Or better yet, one team scores 7 behinds, and a team scores a goal, and they win, even though on the scoreboard, they have one less point?

There is no scoreboard, it's golden goal.

2017 premier Essendon 13.14 92 defeats Hawthorn 12.21 93 with a golden goal after scores were locked at the end of extra time at 12.14 86.

MAKE IT HAPPEN!
