Could anyone find footage, or tell me what game it was when Scott Lucas kicked a goal when he was like infront of the goals with them on his left side facing the boundary and still kicked the ball with his left that hit the outside of his boot and went really high but still goaled?

Sorry if a bit wordy
Only guessing but could have been vs the Eagles with Lucas bagging a plethora of second half goals in hirds last match?

Think this was the game against Richmond when he kicked the ball out of mid ir from around 40 metres out.

Or is the one near the boundary line in which he tried to centre the ball, which then came off the side of his boot, turned into a boomerang and sailed through for a goal.
I really feel like he was like right in front and would of been a really easy snap for a right footer but being Lucas he used the outside of his left.

Fair to say this is probably the most interesting round of footy to date. Barely a game that looks like a blowout. Looking forward to it :thumbsu:
Yes, except for 4 of the 9 games there's barely a blow out to be seen. I reckon the following will have at least 5 goal margins:

Adelaide v Freo
Geelong v Gold Coast
Sydney v Brisbane
West Coast v Collingwood

So North want priority access to all Tasmanian talent, but don't want to move there...because reasons. It's not like it's a footballing backwater or anything, you can pull together a decent crop of taswegians just in recent times.
If they move there, absolutely. Otherwise, it's not like they're doing this whole exercise out of the goodness of their hearts, is it?

Watched the first quarter, can't work out if channel 7 is showing the footy, or Brad Scott with a little footy in between..

All that getting suspended for Donkey punching people has kept Waite so fresh, he could play till he's 50 at this rate, 55 if he throws in a suspension for abusing an umpire every year or two.
Funnily enough, he's playing career-best footy as a key-position player at an age when Hooker is meant to be useless, according to BF groupthink
