Just the level of the stupidity staggers me. I remember when Hirdy was a panel member OTC, we saw an ad and dad told me: "I'd say Hirdy has twice the braincells of those two combined, but he has more than 4 braincells".

Very interesting, but one big issue - the fixture. If you don't play the top teams until season's end, you'll get a worse pick than you might otherwise have deserved. The league would need to recommit to the old 'play everyone once before any repeats' model I think.

That would be the simple way around that issue, so they'll probably come up with some complicated and ineffective algorithm so they can leave the fixture as it is.
