Gut feel is that Melbourne probably wouldn't do it on account of the pick downgrade. It's more a fun option because of the Martin factor rather than being good trading parters.

I guess even if the Lions kept both of them for now, Leuey is probably a free agent at the end of next season, so Brisbane could still get something good even if they dont trade him. They don't run the risk of losing him in the PSD

I know we never would but fit Luenberger is basically the best ruck in the game.

Would allow Ryder to play more forward, give us the super mobile leading target we crave to compliment Carlisle and Daniher and have the "Leigh Brown role" forever renamed. Ryder would be Hale and Gunston rolled into one.
