I've had it up to here with the 'dogs.

On the one hand they sort of have to command your respect as the premiers, but they basically go around shouting 'we're a big club, take us seriously', which is really starting to shit me. And as the premiers they dish up some absolute stinkers way more often than they should.

Power to them for doing it and I loved every single minute of it, but they absolutely pinched that flag, they're not a powerhouse yet.

Which is always going to make it harder to backup the next year when your the hunted instead of the hunter. And especially so when your against the team you beat in the grand final. In this context that's exactly what I mean by 'pinched'.

Luck can be as important a part of winning flag as the controllable variables.

I clicked on that article earlier today, "The defensive elite: What makes them so good". From the title you'd expect them to look at a few players at least, look at what they particularly excel at. But no. Mostly just a Rance puff piece. >.>
