Martin is 31 this year. By the time ballenden is ready to play in a couple of years Martin will be past it and he will settle into full time ruck. Hipwood and schache forward with Andrews, McStay back and ballenden In the ruck is a scary spine.

Andrews, McStay, Gardiner are all better than him. Cutler can play tall if required. Moving him to defence would be as dumb as Collingwood moving Moore to defence.

Well we seem pretty intent in playing our AA fullback at full forward so that may not always be the case
