Yeah I thought so too... but some of them are going on 34. Unless they think they're back in it next year... Or they're planning on doing a Fletch/Boomer and play in premierships when they're 40 or near enough to it? One more year means more picks in next years draft though... rather than this years draft, which no one seems to rate (much).

The recruiting team at the Dogs deserve massive credit too. When you recruit real footballers despite their size like Daniel and Dahlhaus and give opportunity to blokes like Dickson, Picken and Wood when other clubs might've passed. Then they have the depth to replace Murphy, Crameri, Adams, Wallis, etc. I thought they would fade by year's end but to their credit they have really built something pretty special here.
