I know this isn't footy related and this is bigfooty, but I'm confused with what's happening with my laptop and my friends have no idea. Anyone have/had the site www.srvsinf.com keep popping up? Happens every couple of clicks on my laptop, plus now ads keep popping up and it's very frustrating trying to watch a video when advertisement ads play there audio, which use to not happen. Anyone know how to self clean laptops? Would extremely appreciate any advice and help. Thanks in advance, sorry to the mods for making a non footy thread, just starting to think I might have a virus and I'm somewhat nervous about that.

What are you using to browse the internet with?

This happened to me while I was using google chrome.

I got rid of it by going into:

Tools - select - Extensions - disable srvsinf.com.

Then go into the add/remove programs in the control panel of your computer and remove it from there.

Get a decent virus/spyware remover and install it.

I haven't had a problem since.

Happened to you too, it's damn annoying isn't it lol. I'm using Mozilla Firefox. I went into tools-extensions but it's not there. I thought I deleted it last night as it stopped, but it's now re occured.

Took me a month to get it off. Download spyhunter. Worked a treat.

Great Advice - I recommend you have a look through program and google anything you don't know what it is. If it comes back with malware\virus then uninstall it.

Install AVG or Microsoft Security Essentials and you should be fine.

Heads up, the best free anti-malware software on the internet is called Malwarebytes. It gets about 250,000 downloads a week.
