Tyson is a great bloke and has plenty of ground announcing experience having done it for years at the Glory. AFAIK he hasn't been at the Eagles for years.

I hadn't really followed the whole thing but last night seen the trade that they knocked back from Adelaide at the time for the number 1 pick, wow.

Was in Sydney recently, it's shocking how often its weather gets talked up as a positive (often in comparison to Melbourne).
Cloudy every day, constant showers and drizzle and this is supposed to the dry time of year before the wet season hits!

Sydney's weather is vastly overrated.

People in Sydney who reckon that Melbourne has bad weather in comparison are the kind of people who have never been to Melbourne and are just living off tired cliches.

Only just found out last night that Jason Horne-Francis is actually the step-son of former Port Adelaide Player Fabian Francis! Which reminded me, Fabian Francis was meant to be traded to Freo, and did a pre-season with us, but then due to us exceeding total player payments, the trade was blocked. Fabian was to play in the WAFL for a year, then be picked up by us. He played about 3 games for Souths then did his knee and was never to play again! Trivia hey
