It’s a tough one but I used to keep track of our wins as favourites / underdogs for punting purposes and we were one of the best upset teams of the last few years , I haven’t kept up with it this year but I doubt it has changed

It’s actually possible that after playing for a few months at the G it took Collingwood half a game to figure out how to play somewhere else.

I hate to be negative. Most signs point to dockers getting 9th with 13 or even 14 wins. Percentage will cost us I think .

Has Collingwood ever had 6 behinds to start a game against us? I feel like even when we play well those campaigners manage to kick 6 goals straight from the only 6 entries we allow them in the first qtr.

They'll probably kick 16.1 next week while we slog our guts out to kick 6.15.

I still remember a dockers vs magpies game at Subiaco. It was either 2004 or 2005, it was likely 2005.

Dockers kicked like 9.2.58 to 0.4.4 in the 1st quarter . Dockers went on to win by more than 100 points

Oh well I guess we should never sack him then and just be happy trying for a finals spot but inevitably missing out every year???

Just trying to point out a new coach is not necessarily the magic wand, could be good but could also just put us back another 3-4 years if we pick the wrong one. We have the talent and skill to be a good team, it's on the players now to show that they want to tackle and pressure the opposition every week, both home and away and not be "some time" footballers.

There were two paths last week, lose and miss finals or win and keep winning until flag. The boys made their choice , nothing to do now except watch it play out , then start thinking about 2026. We need to figure out how to lift the curse on this club in the offseason.

Very possible we get smoked by the Pies next week though if they get back to full strength

If we lose to the Eaglez then I’ll be joining you on the “ forget it “ bus.

We need to win at least 1 of Hawks and Brisbane at home. We have a very record against Brisbane at home. My opinion is we will get decently beaten by Collingwood and WB away.

Iv been a member since the beginning so I know the pain this club has put me through. But melting about a game that hasn’t even happened yet is pretty funny.

I don’t think 4 wins is enough due to our poor percentage - we need to win 5. So that’s both Hawks and Brisbane, plus Eagles, Port and Carlton… easiest path really.

Gets extremely difficult if we lose tonight, in fact I’d almost put a pin in it.

I was talking in general about people melting in this thread because Collingwood lost and we are apparently going to get smashed next week because of it.
