After years of being nowhere near it it's enjoyable for games to mean something again.

We were a better chance in 2019 when we had to beat Saints, Bombers, and Port in the last 3 rounds.

Just went and looked - yeah we were one game (and 20%) outside the 8 with 3 to go. And we lost 2 of the last 3 pretty narrowly too. I don't remember feeling like we were that much in the hunt for some reason.

If we win today and Port (and Sydney) do us a favour we'll be in the 8 with 3 to go though, so a bit closer.

Yep, the Bombers are really fighting for a top eight spot which is more than you can say at this point for several other teams.
