I don't normally post this type of rumour, but this one comes from someone VERY close to the Eagles. Oscar Allen is going to be the cornerstone of a huge trade deal involving Patrick Cripps to the Eagles next year. Don't know the details, but you heard it here first.
West coast would be fools to do that trade
Allen is the perfect replacement for Kennedy.

Also would feel for the guy if it happened ( as much as he looks like a flog ) , getting traded from a team you have idolised and then played your guts out for would be a kick in the teeth for what would be nothing more than a political trade (ie: WC will get Cripps just so that Freo don't)

Also when is this cliff coming that WC are supposed to fall off ?
Would you say 2 years from now ?
Out :
Kennedy
McGovern
Darling
Hurn
Shuey ( long term injuries )
Sheed
Gaff ( back to Vic )
Nic Nat ( broken )

They look like they have some decent youngsters coming through but it would be hard to replace that lot of absolute guns .

Maybe that’s the problem, JK won’t step aside and Allen’s sick of waiting and being NN’s backup

Could only be coming from Allen’s end surely

They should give them Darling ffs. He's only on if the supply is there.

Keep Allen as the number 1.
They way he's going Kennedy could go again.
Waterman 3rd tall.
Cripps and Yeo can rotate as Mid/Fwds

Allen looks as happy as a pig in manure when that forward line is functioning well and won't be too long till he's the big dog down there .

( note to self - you need to get over this man-flu and out of the house . Discussing the future well being of WC is demoralising and bad for your health)

Or they see that he’ll struggle being the number one.

seems to go ok as the third tall, when things are going right. Could be a good move by WC to move him on at his highest value

Can't see him struggling
Look what he's doing with only 40 games under his belt .
And WTF are they they going to get out of a banged up Cripps ?

If they got some picks with the deal then maybe it does make good business sense , there a plenty of holes to fill coming up .

You’ve been listening to too many Freo supporters on BF and making the mistake that they actually know what they’re talking about. The same posters said that their midfield was crap early in 2018 before they went on to win the flag...without their best midfielder!!!

I remember reading some of these comments late last year and thinking the same .
ICBF going back and looking it up but they've only had something like 6 years in the last 30 in the bottom 8 .

They've got so much bargaining power with the players they have to get in new blood without having to bottom out and rebuild .
Great model for success .
Wads of old WA and mining Money help of course

If the Eagles want JK out for Oscar Allen they will show him the door. They’re handling of Priddis and Mitchell was some cold hearted sh*t that I couldn’t help but respect.

Speaking of Eagles, Worsfold is currently a
board member at a mining company (it rhymes with Lemmygo) and he shared some entertaining stories about Ben Cousins during his coaching days. Nothing bad (Worsfold would never b*tch about anyone) but it’s crazy to hear for all the off field shennagins Ben did he set the standard in terms of work ethic on it.

Hawks are really the model to emulate, and there is a reason why they became a coaching factory.
Good drafting and an eye for bargain talent, and don’t even bother looking at injury concerns.
Having the grand final guaranteed at your home ground is a significant advantage too.

If the GF was held in WA every year we would have a premiership and the Hawks would have at least one less.

You say that but we couldn’t beat them over here
