I'm expecting the Bombers to come out this week and take it right up to Port (and possibly win) after the pasting they've copped in the media.
I agree that they'll go for it but they don't seem good enough in my eyes. Its very hard to see the Bombers beating many good teams at all tbh.

A system that would be compatible with ourselves. We’ve played an intercept style defence for over a decade. Taylor, Hendo, Harley, Enright were all adept at intercept marking. We’re currently playing Henry in that role.
Traditionally the Geelong way is what Rance does. Intercept mark..not just punch and create crumbs etc. Henry showed great promise.. in both games he went for marks , he is obviously lacking strength , but he was willing to fly with bigger bodies and get crunched , got his hands to them as well.

Love to see them put some money into a different ground apart from KP... (If one insists on the KP district ..perhaps fling some money to StMarys and get them to move) ... but why not spend some money on a more boutique ground... be it Geelong west or where ever.. A little mini , stadium with a smaller ground surface that suits girls better.

Once this is done we won't bother government's for funds for a generation.

yeah ...nah... What was the announcement for a new Great Souther stand. So 1992 to now 25 odd years ... so yeah. But when did the Hickey stand get done. If they have some sort of cup here ..we will be panting and and have our tongues out drooling like any good dog begging. KP was probably let go too long.. I doubt Cooks replacement will set back to long before he starts long term planing needs and bring them all up the the standard of the Brownlow which is significantly better the other stands.

MCG is irrelevant. It is solely funded by the MCC this time.

Im watching very little re neutral games - so im basing this on statistics

Max Gawn could be a chance for the Brownlow Medal - reading in the paper today - last week against Goldstein - the hitouts were something like 55 to 17 Gawns way - so he might have 6 Brownlow votes already - i dont know he played when Melb beat Bris in round 2

Been enjoying reading that particular Adel post salty interstate whinging

Off to see if he has posted anything to this news
"Who is on the AFL Commission? Surely this would have to be approved by them?

Let’s hunt them down."

Watch out AFL. Here come the Camries.

That chip on the Adelaide poster on the main board is going to be even bigger now
There will be less salty water in the ocean then there will be coming out of the eyes of Adelaide members when we trade them O'Connor for Sloane at the end of the year.
