And in what I am actually surprised to read...

http://www.krockfootball.com.au/afl-news/sign-fix-optus-stadium/

THE AFL has ordered the operators of Perth’s Optus Stadium to cover the venue’s LED boundary signage with protective plastic in a bid to avoid a repeat of the injuries suffered by Geelong duo Mark Blicavs and Zach Tuohy.
Had it been Martin or Thyril the AFL would have shut the stadium down.

SYDNEY has rallied around forward Gary Rohan and wife Amie after the couple's twin girls were born on Thursday.

Bella Rae and Willow Nevaeh were born on Thursday morning, but Willow, who had been already diagnosed with anencephaly – a fatal condition that prevents the formation of a baby's brain and skull – tragically passed away hours after being born.

The Swans released a statement on Friday, saying: "Willow had five special hours with her mum and dad before 'growing her angel wings'. Amie and Bella are now resting in hospital."
Condolences to the Rohan's

Im watching very little re neutral games - so im basing this on statistics

Max Gawn could be a chance for the Brownlow Medal - reading in the paper today - last week against Goldstein - the hitouts were something like 55 to 17 Gawns way - so he might have 6 Brownlow votes already - i dont know he played when Melb beat Bris in round 2
One major problem for Gawn - he is a ruckman and unfortunately the umpires seem too focused on midfielders to see the impact of other players.

If he continues with his form though I'd think he's in with a chance for the AFLCA and if the players are smart enough the AFLPA awards also.
