Pies second to us is a good result for us if it continues.
Surely, we do not want to play Pies or Tigers at the G in Week 1 finals, post rest.
It might turn out really well for us if we can maintain #1 or 2 .

made the mistake of saying the game today was a bit uninspiring. Apparently pies supporters think they put on a bit of a masterclass. Looked clunky from both sides today. The only difference was that Collingwood fielded a forward line.

Our G form is better than our KP form. I think CS has melded a team to play the G.
GWS would prefer us at Geelong perhaps.

I think we'd need Collingwood to finish 2nd and Richmond to finish 5th or 6th before the AFL would think about a Geelong final.

If we played them now it wouldn't even be close. Right now we are an 8 goal better side at worst.

Haven’t heard the maestro Paul Roos talk up his master stroke of recruiting at the Dees for a while. In effect it was Dom Tyson/Salem for Josh Kelly. Yeah that is an absolute howler in hindsight.
