I know they're depleted but I think GWS might snatch a win over there. SJ on recent form isn't really a loss and they are the one side with Mumford, Cameron and Patton that aren't *too* weakened by losing a key forward/ruck (Lobbe). WCE have already had close calls at home against WB and St Kilda. Neither team's form line has been that convincing but I think it's a decent chance for GWS to get a big win on the road.

Like you said though, very good weekend either way for the Cats.
I think both games could go either way, but the upsets don't seem too likely imo. Its just hard to look at the quality on GWS injury list and feel confident - even if they can cover the losses of Stevie J and Lobbe it's more the losses they'd already incurred that gives me pause.

Certainly did :D

Mind you, I'm careful with what I say, but don't miss an opportunity. Absolutely choking on her bile that we're winning while they're as competitive as a paper clip in a gunfight. Filthy as.

Ah, life is good :p
Must have been hard to contain yourself knowing they were going to Richmond it up :D

Agreed, their form line hasn't been too bad given the loss of personnel. My thinking here is not so much based on great faith in GWS, just that West Coast have been scratchy even at home and are ripe for the picking (watch them win by 10 goals now).

It's never good to see Hawthorn on top but a win tonight would be a big dent in Sydney's finals hope, which would surely be a good outcome for Geelong. Hawthorn's second halves are awful though so they probably need to extend this lead in the second quarter to stand a chance.
