The Swans seem to get away with a lot more especially bumping after the ball has gone to stop the player from running on to get another disposal . We get called for that all the time , maybe we don't do it as quickly as they do . It's very frustrating what they seem to get away with and also how long they can hold the ball before a free kick is paid . Seems like there is different rules for them .
Yep, and throwing -I think they do stuff cleverly -they throw sideways like skipball or something and it's harder to ping perhaps. Heaps of incorrect disposal but that seems a non -existent offence these days.

While I liked the atmosphere at the Crows V Swans game, I found the constant stoppages, scrums, and flooding so 36 players were in one section of the ground—very boring to watch. Sure there were some good moments, like Buddy's goal, but I found this game was everything I dislike about modern football.
It is crazy how long they wait to call a ball up these days, a player will be totally pinned and they give it 20+ seconds for it to spill out which it inevitably does leading to a literal scrum where the ball is dropped by 3 or 4 players, then pinned again, and that's when they call it. Bizarre

Looks like Tom Jonas must have had travel plans already locked in for Sept
"The impact was probably low but it was high".
If that is how you describe "low" impact then what is high?

There is 2 weeks in that from my perspective. Much worse contact than Hawkins silly jumper punches.

A CONFUSED Luke Beveridge expects Port Adelaide defender Tom Jonas to be let off for his off-the-ball hit on Western Bulldogs midfielder Luke Dahlhaus but cited an inconsistency with the Match Review Panel.

Jonas caught Dahlhaus high in the third quarter at Mars Stadium, leaving the Bulldog floored for a few seconds.

However, the premiership player stood up soon afterwards and finished the game, which the Dogs coach said would likely be the saving grace for Jonas.
Ahh, what? Duncan tapped a guy in the stomach and got weeks. Hawkins and Redpath grazed a player's chin/neck and got weeks. You're telling me clearly clobbering a bloke directly in the head off the ball warrants nothing?
