Haha! Poor doggies cannot have a proper Mad Monday as they theoretically can make the finals if Gold Coast loses. But realistically they and Bevo know the season is over if they lose today - all Gold Coast need to do in Gold Coast is draw (or just win even by a point) against an injury depleted Essendon who have already checked out! And the Bulldog supporters will be fantasising various scenarios where Gold Coast improbably lose and they make the finals!

Not going to happen. GC, under 3 times premiership coach Hardwick, playing in Gold Coast, with a bunch of talented players, and chasing their first ever finals appearance, are not going to lose to an injury plagued Essendon VFL side that has lost their last 12 matches in a row
