If they can keep within under 5 goals of the Swans I'd consider that a decent result for us if we can get the job done against Carlton

They’ve been good in this third quarter. North looking better as the season goes on.

Carlton could've used 7 goals from Josh Kennedy this afternoon

Best last game ever?
Love to see it. Always liked him as a player. Wouldn't be many 8 goal final games going around (according to Swamp on Twitter it's the equal 2nd most after Fred Fanning's 18 goals in his last game...).

Collingwood 2022 = Brisbane Lions 2009?

There are parallels - Aging stars still able to play well, rising star winner, C grade players full of confidence.

They'll win one final and get then get beaten I think.

Not quite the Lions of 2001

Curious about what sort of specialist tackling training Pies have gone through this season. The Dees game was a stand out, they were able to overwhelm Viney again n again - he's a hard one to tackle usually. They nailed him more than once.

Twomey saying McStay and Bobby Hill locked in to Collingwood next year, and if they can move Grundy, then Taranto is possible, as well as keeping De Goey.

Had to have a laugh at Have the Roos been unfairly impacted by father-son/Academy draft rules?.

They start with a big statement...
Is it unfair on North Melbourne that arguably the best player in the draft has been unavailable to them three years in a row or is it simply the swings and roundabouts of the draft system?

But then:
In 2020, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan was tied to the Western Bulldogs via their Academy – the Roos had pick three and likely missed out on either Ugle-Hagan or Riley Thilthorpe depending on the Crows’ decision.

So the Roos didn't have the best player available to them... at pick 3??? I'm devastated Brisbane didn't have the best player available to them at our first pick either!

Last year, they were always likely selecting Jason Horne-Francis, but had no ability to even pursue Nick Daicos, given his status as a Collingwood father-son.

So the Roos would've taken the same player regardless of availability, and this becomes news...???

Compounding this, the top pick in the 2022 National Draft will likely be Will Ashcroft – a Brisbane father-son prospect.

The real reason they want to pump this up. ;)

Given the Roos are on the bottom of the ladder and stuck in a deep rebuild, have they unfairly missed out on the top talent available?
