There seems to be a lot of meaningless well paying jobs that achieve nothing but shuffling paper/line items, speaking motivational horseshite in the corporate world these days, the epitome of which is government bureaucracies.... nice gig if you can get it, half Chris Scott's luck.

Laura Kane might be the worst AFL appointment of all time. She makes andrew demetriou look competent. With her throwing the umps under the bus, i'll give it a month before she resigns. Andrew Dillion doesn't impress me as well. I actually can't believe i'm saying this, but i miss Gil.

The fixture, MRO, Rioli and the umpires are all issues where owning your mistake and explaining how you will do better goes a long way versus throwing at others. Poor leadership.

It goes unpunished because Geelong know how to read the rulebook. If there's loopholes in the AFL rules, then it's up to the AFL to close them. In the meantime clubs would be foolish not to take full advantage, particularly in the coaching ranks where the softcap is making coaching an unappealing career pathway for anyone who has the ability to do something other than coaching.
