(we shouldn’t have let Keays go). If he gets enough opportunity to develop I think he will become a good enough player in this eagles side and give them that defensive accountable mid.

In time I will be able to claim we shouldn’t have let dev go.

He gets the big bucks to get one almost mark of the year each game while getting hosed by powerhouse forwards such as Jake Waterman.

He’s already played that card about 20 times though. Every time you get suspended argue you should be let off because you’ve never been suspended before! Rinse and repeat. Not a bad tactic from Pendles.

So I figure there weren't many people there cheering to mute the noise.

Has all the physical tools to be incredible but doesn’t look to have footballing ability yet. He’s still only 23 this year though.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the second half, particularly arguably the best ruck in the past half dozen years dismantle the highest paid ruck who wouldn’t be top 6.

I’m expecting NAS to free up some space in the salary cap and leave for SA when his contract expires, but if he doesn’t Saints Footy are in a world of pain - players like Max Hall would be on low income and clubs will be coming hard for him. Can add a few more. They’ll lose 2 players for every one they draft.
