Redden really has become a limited player. Doesn't win any contested ball and is obsessed with kicking 20 metres to a player side ways. Not damaging at all. I knew his game had become stale the last 2 years but perhaps it was never that great. Just 10 disposals tonight. On todays efforts we havent lost much with Aish and Redden leaving. Early days mind you.

Reddos just one of those hard at it honest footballers though. Everyone has off games. I didnt see tonights game but i wont write him off.

He will find some form.

It was weird watching him tonight. Used to seeing him being involved and being a presence around the ball, and tonight you wouldn't notice him if you weren't looking for him.

Perhaps not totally fit, but I think as much he can't quite adjust to being the fifth or sixth midfielder in a team after being in the top two or three for his recent career.

True. He seems to be a bit player for the Eagles, at least at the moment. He is useful for them but a long way back in the pecking order. He might find his feet there gradually but 10 touches and 4 tackles is not a major contribution for a midfielder by any means.

I love those foxsports promos with Jordan Lewis..."if they took foxsports away people wouldn't know what to do"...my life would implode without it. I'd just wander around aimlessly.
And Ross Lyon saying "sport mirrors life". Trying to sound profound but not saying anything at all.

Q: What do you think Australia would be like without sport?

Normal answer: It'd be more or less the same, except for no sport.

The answer of the most stupid footballers they could find: Uh...I don't know...can't even think what that'd be like...duh...

That might be more his game/role though too I suppose. He is a good, honest type but perhaps more of a really good depth player than midfield leader.

Seriously how bad is Aish. This bloke looks like a pick in the 40s yet we paid a high price for him. Just reading through the Collingwood board I thought they would be livid with his output considering how highly he was rated yet they say he is tracking okay. 11 disposals for 1 match and and 10 in the other. I know its only his third year but Lewy 100x the player he is and I am so glad we moved him on.

Is it just me or is Browny a little off with his commentary tonight?
I was irritated when he said it was good the umps ignored that blatant out of bounds because it made the game more exciting.

It's funny, I worshipped the guy on-field but I am not really a fan of his post-footy persona and antics at all.

It's amazing how underrated Taylor is on BF.
