I really enjoy watching the Suns play. They move the ball at pace once it gets to the outside. Guys like Saad, Harbrow and Hall appear to have a licence to try and break a line. They still don't appear to be a great kicking side but instead rely on run and energy to break a side down. They win the ball (which the Suns have been good at since they came into the comp) and then take off. Sometimes they'll use a KK or Malceski to kick through a zone but mostly those kicks still set off a chain of quick ball movement leading to a forward entry. It is just good to watch.
It just says to me that you build a game plan around your strengths, taking into account modern styles of play, rather than the other way around. I suspect that's the realisation we have reached and the reason we have a change-up in game style this year.
Of course, we don't have Tom Lynch or Steven May which limits how far we can take that gameplan.
