Cameron is not worth a first rounder... very inconsistent. Has only really had 2 or 3 great games. Would be fairly annoyed if we trade Port or our second rounder for him.

All depends on who we see being available at Ports pick, if Port implode and we get a pick in the top 10 I wouldn't be trading it at this stage.

He's having a poor game tonight. However it's not much of a game for the run & carry types. His pressure acts are always up which is a real deficient area in our forward line.

Wouldn't be the worst thing for him to drop his trade value. Might have to give 18 but get some points back as part of the deal

The big questions -

Can the dogs beat us to the wooden spoon (We win 4, they win 0 in the rest of the season and we increase our percentage by 23)?

Has a team ever gone from premieres to wooden spooners in 1 season? I googled but couldn't fib any.

I think West Adelaide might have done it in the SANFL last year.

Can't think of a V/AFL occurrence. North went from minor premier in 1983 to missing the spoon by percentage the following year.

Watching it for the first time. Lol. Everyone is running away from him. They don't want too talk to him. Hilarious.

Oh. Beveridge now. Can't watch this - he looks devastated and sounds like he is going to cry.
Real men cry Gads.

There are other teams?
The Dogs have been found out. Their run last year was based on competitiveness around the contest, third man up to nullify better ruckmen, a fair bit of inspiration, the form of Johannison, Daniel, Lin Jong, and Bontempelli in particular, a one off game from Boyd, quick and at times, dubious handball and a well drilled and disciplined squad who played their roles well.

Other teams upped their pressure around the contest, third man up is gone, not much new to inspire them after last year's fairy tale, key players injured or out of form (Bont looks fairly run of the mill now), understanding of their handball patterns are coached against now and the discipline has dropped way off.

They look like an average middling footy team now.

Yep, the Bont's form has been so average it's almost time for a Lewy/Bont comparison update. Bay 13 anyone?

They also relied on a lot of otherwise decent-average players like Picken and Wood having career best seasons, that just wasn't sustainable. Then there was the crazy finals run of Clay Smith, who barely looks afl standard now.

If this game keeps going the way it's going, Bucks will be sacked before next round.
Maybe like Leppa he could be a good assistant coach, I wouldn't be averse to having him at the Lions

as a NEAFL assistant.;) Would be a good apprenticeship for Bucks.
