Why do we insist on being both apathetic to politics, while also barracking like team sports?
Australia has sprinted to become American, and overtaken them. We're now the perfect lackey for propagandists.
We don't care enough about politics to follow it. But we're also vivacious in directional political expediency.
We don't care... but give us the right instructions and we will burn bridges with family, to show you how much we care.
Why do we have people making threads to discuss politics, with requests to deny access from people who... discuss politics?
I've never understood taking pride in ignorance.
Who would ask for a thread to discuss AFL for people who don't understand or follow AFL?
Who would request those with knowledge of AFL, to be kept away...?
I've never understood someone who is steadfast in their ideals and values, but avoids testing them.
It's a statement of wanting to share an opinion, without being challenged.
