Going to be interesting to see how the AFL tries to change the concussion rules mid week to ensure Stewart gets to play next week. Perhaps a signed off claim of accidental misdiagnosis of the original condition?

Ah I just realised he’s that “character” who used to play for the Bulldogs.I honestly don’t know much about him. Don’t get time to watch many non-Swans games.

That didn't cross my mind, but now you bring it up and also knowing the AFL, it's a definite possibility...Going to be interesting to see how the AFL tries to change the concussion rules mid week to ensure Stewart gets to play next week. Finally someone who finally witnessed the shit standing area. The fans were absolutely atrocious.Urgghh ...tbf not a bad game but I am in Cats territory (and Kardinia park was feral in the old standing terrace) and I despise the Hawks after going to the grannie in 2014 , their fans are up there in the d#$khead stakes.
Hopefully Brisbane can get up tomorrow....the idea of having a week of the Vic media go overboard on a Cats /Pies grand final is making me nauseous.
Lead up I won't care about, but at least it is (almost) guaranteed to be a good game.I don't think I've ever cared less about a grand final then next week. It won't be a horror movie like I'm accustomed to but I won't even be paying attention to the lead up I don't think
Worpel was great v Crows. Absolutely putrid last night. So you mean to say that Cats can win a premiership then add both Curnow and Worpel and the AFL doesn’t blink an eye?
We picked up Francis & Hamling to bolster our list over the last few years.Geelong just never sit on there hands ( obviously cotton on help ) but identity smith to improve there list do so.
Probably get Marshall this year.
Unbelievably well run club
Them and Brisbanes recruiting Dunkley , Daniher , Cameron has what has made the difference between winning int a flag and not imo
To be fair, I don't think that was Horse's decision. From memory, the trigger was pulled to move Hamling forward during a VFL game (? GWS) in 2024 and he promptly kicked 3 or 4 goals. I think he stayed there for the rest of the season and showed a bit as a forward. We picked up Francis & Hamling to bolster our list over the last few years.
Horse played a premiership defender Hamling as a forward in the twos.
Genius!
Then there is Chris Scott.
We had no-one up forward, Ladhams had dropped off. He did well. But of course it was simply dumb coaching. To be fair, I don't think that was Horse's decision. He didn’t want to disrespect his new suitors, they might take away a farm from him.Worpel was great v Crows. Absolutely putrid last night.
But we had a heap of tall forwards & no quality defenders as back up.To be fair, I don't think that was Horse's decision. I understand what you're saying. This decision was made by the VFL coach initially but was presumably allowed to continue by the AFL head coach. Makes you wonder how in sync the twos programs really are?But we had a heap of tall forwards & no quality defenders as back up.
We needed defenders the way the GF panned out.
Sorry that's a big fail IMO of course.
