Going to be interesting to see how the AFL tries to change the concussion rules mid week to ensure Stewart gets to play next week. Perhaps a signed off claim of accidental misdiagnosis of the original condition?

I don't think I've ever cared less about a grand final then next week. It won't be a horror movie like I'm accustomed to but I won't even be paying attention to the lead up I don't think

Urgghh ...tbf not a bad game but I am in Cats territory (and Kardinia park was feral in the old standing terrace) and I despise the Hawks after going to the grannie in 2014 , their fans are up there in the d#$khead stakes.
Hopefully Brisbane can get up tomorrow....the idea of having a week of the Vic media go overboard on a Cats /Pies grand final is making me nauseous.

Geelong just never sit on there hands ( obviously cotton on help ) but identity smith to improve there list do so.

Big bodies and very good role players
Lead up I won't care about, but at least it is (almost) guaranteed to be a good game.
It's hard to see Geelong or Collingwood capitulating like another team I know. Brisbane might be a bit vulnerable due to injury.

To be fair, I don't think that was Horse's decision. From memory, the trigger was pulled to move Hamling forward during a VFL game (? GWS) in 2024 and he promptly kicked 3 or 4 goals. I think he stayed there for the rest of the season and showed a bit as a forward.

I understand what you're saying. This decision was made by the VFL coach initially but was presumably allowed to continue by the AFL head coach. Makes you wonder how in sync the twos programs really are?
