Pies are cooked imo

Miochek looks cooked

Eliot is a star and he will be at the suns

Hill might be going home

Membrey is 32

Cox is cooked

Pendles and Sidebottom can’t carry Daicos , watch daicos last q to see when couldn’t get carried
I’m not sure I’d say Cox is cooked. He was right in the thick of it yesterday.

Or are you saying his body is starting to break down?

You don’t know how much I hope you are right.

Weirdly I agree. Being beaten by the lions seemed way more humiliating. And the way they carried on was in bad taste.

But on the other hand Geelongs players and coach disgust me more.
Funnily enough, I saw nothing but grace from Lions supporters I saw compared to some absolute disgust from Cats fans after each of those GFs.

So Geelong can go to hell

This is going to sound strange but I am glad the Swans are no where near the Grand Final this year. I just can't take making the Grand Final and being pathetic again.
I am not exaggerating when I say making the GF again anytime soon would be genuinely traumatic.

Judging by how easily we rolled over multiple times this season, I think a lot of the players feel the same.

I was actually pretty amazed they got so far this year as I expected this to be the season they really collapsed so credit to them. But yeah, I think this is the end for them. Way too much reliance on players well over 30 now.

To Collingwood's and Geelong's credit, a lot of people were expecting them to fall away in recent years due to the age of their list and retirements. And suggested that they should drop down the ladder and go into a rebuild phase.

Although they have traded in players. it is still difficult to keep winning every week and get the most out of your role players.

“So lots to talk about … I do know is you can’t take unfit players into grand finals, it just doesn’t work”.

Well said Chris Fagan.

In my opinion, our decision to play Sam Reid in 22 and Logan in 24 have never been properly scrutinised.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

That was/is my biggest fear about Horse and now Cox. Being too close to the players means your judgement is clouded.

Seeing the success that Fagan has had at Brisbane makes me a little annoyed that a club in our position (where it's incredibly difficult to attract good assistant coaches from interstate) hasn't been more willing to look for successful coaches from outside the AFL system as assistants.

I can't imagine we'd have to pay a lot to attract a VFL, WAFL, SANFL or even lower league coach to come on board. If there's an outlier there who's had a heap of success with a group where others wouldn't have then maybe they're worth taking a punt on rather than another former player or GWS reject.

Same, I felt so relaxed and relieved that the Swans missed out this year, I really needed that break, it was so entertaining to watch with no expectations and no stress, I think it can only be good for the Swans to miss out this year, with a few new recruits coming in (I hope) it will bring back our hunger and not just be taken for granted that we get into the finals, but already Im freshened up ready to go next year.

I found the finals exceedingly boring without us in there.

Bit of a mountain out of a molehill anyway. It didn't have that big an impact. Lions were by far the better team in the last quarter.
I thought the impact was huge. Went from being a 1 goal game to a 3 goal game in a minute.

Had it been called it would have completely changed the complexion of the game. Lions gained momentum and the pies pretty much knew it was over at that point.

Same. I think it had a huge impact. And I thought the free was there.

I think people are kidding themselves if they don't think it had a big impact on the result.
